Openness is an important component in sales ethics.
With that in mind, this site was created and is hosted by Jeff Bowe, principal of ACTUM Group, founder of INFOCUS Selling, and more importantly, doctoral student at Anderson University studying and researching sales ethics.
To create debate from the practioners and hopefully researchers, I created this site. It may not be the most active site, but I will post questions, comments, and challenges. Over time, some of these may drive or be driven by my academic work. Rest assured, no matter how academic the subject, as a full time professional sales trainer, I deal with these issues every day and I have no desire to sit on high and dictate what “should be” when what is more important is improving the nature of the sales relationship so that over time, the “should be” and “is” are closer.
